Aboard a catamaran or a monohull, Club Med are able to offer you sailing courses for beginners or at all levels. A selection of our villages offer Club Med-Catamaran sailing Catamaran developed jointly by Club Méditerranée S.A. and Hobie Cat. Upgradable boat providing both enjoyment and high performance. Stable, light and maneuverable, with speed and exhilaration being the order of the day. The dive: huge array of coral, napoleon fish, turtles, stingrays and manta rays, white tipped sharks, lion fish, nudibranches, etc. Around 8,000 species of fish have been recorded. All dives are drift dives and take place along coral (thilas) reefs or through channels. Beginners diving package > 6 dives/ stay* (3 dives in the lagoon & 3 at sea). NEW - NITROX Dives At Kani divers will have the opportunity to try, or to rediscover, diving with Nitrox in the beautiful depths of the Maldivian sea. This mixture offers various advantages, the main ones being an increase in safety and a reduction in divers' feeling of tiredness. This kind of diving enables safe immersion in shallow waters. People with a NRC certificate (Nitrox and Re-breather College) can dive with Nitrox at no extra cost. For divers with other Nitrox certificates (PADI, TDI, etc) there will be an extra supplement payable and invoiced at the Village. These conditions also apply to divers who have bought the 'advanced' and 'advanced independent' diving packages. For divers without a Nitrox certificate, specific training is available to buy on site only. As soon as you are a certified Nitrox diver you can dive at no extra cost.Details available on site, subject to availability. NEW ! Scuba Diving for Children With these introduction courses to diving, children from 8 years will be able to discover the fun of diving in a safe environment. PADI Bubble Maker** for children, from 8 to 11 years. 1 dive in the lagoon or swimming pool, at a maximum depth of 2 m, for no longer than 10 minutes, with all the sufficient tuition and equipment (one instructor for 2 children).
