We arrive at the schooner in Arraial d'Ajuda and navigate to the coral reefs located in front of Porto Seguro. Stop to enjoy the natural pools and to observe the aquatic fauna and flora. Drinks included aboard. Historical Porto Seguro, Journey to TRANCOSO and its famous "quadrado", walk on that grass bordered with small coloured houses until "Sao Joao Batista" church. Trip to the native reserve of Pataxos de Jaqueir Stroll with an Indian guide who will explain you some of the traditions of this former endangered tribe, in the past nomadic and which now settled in the region. Visit of Coroa Vermelha, site where was celebrated the first Brazilian mass and also famous for the beauty of its beaches. Free time for native craft shopping in the market of "PATAXOS". Lunch in Porto Seguro, visit of the historical area (1st church of Brazil, 1st Jesuit school ruins, 1st Portuguese control trace...) and if you are lucky you will attend a "Capoeira" demonstration. Return to the Village by the afternoon end. Trancoso and Arraial, Visit the characteristic bars & restaurants and the craft shops around its famous square. Free time for purchases and visits. Our next stop is in Arraial d'Ajuda, visit of the most famous streets, the little church named Nossa Sra d'Ajuda and the colorful Badway. Also local and typical restaurants. Free time for purchase and visits. Return to the Village. The discovery costs, Boarding at Porto Seguro, sailing along the coasts. Bathing halt at the complex beach of "Axé moi" to attend a "lambada-aerobics"demonstration. Stop at Coroa Vermelho, place of celebration of the first Brazilian mass. Gorgeous beach and possibility of shopping in the native market of Pataxos. Salvador de Bahia, 40 min. of flight from Porto Seguro airport to land on at Salvador. Guide and vehicle at disposal at the airport, visit of Pelourinho, coloured colonial area, registered on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Check-in at the " hotel. Typical Bahian dinner in Pelourinho, then attend to the weekly rehearsal of the "Olodum" percussion group. Night at the hotel. The next day, visit of Bonfim church, of Barra lighthouse, of the beaches, view on the new city and free time for shopping at "mercado Modelo". Lunch and take off towards Porto Seguro. Cabralia, Santo Andre and Rio Joao de Tiba, Departure to Santa Cruz de Cabralia, contesting with Porto Seguro the arrival of Cabral's caravels. Walk through the historical quarter. Boarding on an "escuna", typical wooden boat and ascent of the river down from its estuary. Meeting with the mangrove and its inhabitants, mud bath highly recommended! Stop at the gorgeous beach of "San André", relief... Local lunch in a restaurant looking onto the river before sailing towards "Paraiso" island where you will enjoy the sugary specialities of Bahia. Return to the Village by the afternoon end. Caraiva and Espelho by jeep, Adventure day! Trip through the region tracks to discover a great diversity of landscapes, flora and fauna. Arrival in Caraiva, a picturesque village where electricity has not been yet installed. River ascent aboard a local boat (20 min) throughout mangrove trees, "Amazonian" views... Strolls and free time in the village. Lunch in a restaurant over Espelho beach, one of the most beautiful in Brazil! Walk along the beach. Return at the end of the day. Arraial d'Ajuda Park, A leisure day in the largest brazilian aquatic and ecological park. Supervised by an effective security and animation team, enjoy emotions in gigantic toboggans, in a wave pool,or relax long Rio Tupi on a rubber ring. Lunch in one of the restaurant points of the park... Horseriding, Leaving from Taipe beach. We go through the most beautiful beaches of these fantastic region. We stop at Pitinga, where we have a drink(included). We go through an ecological path through the forest (3 hours horse ride) and return by the beach.  Quad, |
